The Port of Inverness was delighted to welcome back the Variety Voyager following on the success of her visits last year. The ship arrived in the early hours of Monday morning from Stromness to disembark passengers at the end of their cruise. The ship was then resupplied before approximately 65 new passengers arrived to begin a 10-day cruise of the UK west coast.
Sinclair Browne, Chief Executive of Port of Inverness, “We are delighted to welcome back the Variety Voyager for another season. Similar to last year she will be the port as her northern base for the summer cruising up and down the UK’s west coast. Yet again the owners have recognised the huge benefits of being able to arrive and depart from the Highland Capital.”
She departed late on Monday evening bound for Stromness. The Variety Voyager is due to call at Inverness 5 times this summer. The picture shows the vessel alongside at Inverness.
